Council have approved the Plan even with great push back
Did you know that Council dismissed 200 residents from the feedback report because they did not like what was said ? They simply dismissed them all by saying they were mistaken. This happened at face to face events and so Council promised that the feedback would be included in the report. But this did not happen. When we approached Council to ask why our concerns were dismissed, they advised that it was noted in the report, in one little paragraph, as not important to consider as residents views were based on erroneous information. They decided that our concerns were wrong and not to be included. Could this be because these residents were against the plan?
The external consultant put the report together using information provided by council - they obviously came back with the answer that Council paid for. It was to justify that council was right to dismiss all 200 residents concerns. who were against this plan. How is this fair?
Council passed the Wyndham Plan 2040 anyway. Apparently, there wasn't enough push back. They justified ignoring residents.
